Singaporeans are so efficient

I made 4 enquiries with 2 companies and they were all addressed in 15 minutes (inclusive of waiting time). 
1. POSB: swift code for international bank transfers
2.  DBS credit cards: when will i have to pay a renewal fee?
3.  Starhub Cable: signing up for TV5Monde 
4. Starhub Mobile: signing up for HUB ID for claiming rewards points  If that’s not efficient, I don’t know what is.  

In particular, DBS’s hotline has always impressed me with their quick turn-around time on enquiries and their polite call-centre officers. My only complaint is they’re a tad stiff; when I make jokes, they don’t get it or laugh uncomfortably (am I the only one who makes jokes with call-centre people?).
